Gem

Based on the smallest island, Bryher, in an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, I live with my three children amongst sandy shores, a slow pace of life and sweeping tides that also guided my childhood. I love quietude; the scent of lavender; philosophy books and atmospheric novels; lungfuls of sea air; gently paddle-boarding calm waters; sunshine and the cleansing energy of rain.

I synchronise my life and yoga with the seasons, delving deep into training in the dark of winter, organising in the light of spring, island hopping through summer to offer sessions outdoor, and running retreats in the autumn.

  • Yoga immediately awakened something inside me and I believe in it's ability to access the deeper wisdom inside us. Teacher training was a transformation that offered me both new perspectives and a sense of vocation.

I have 800 hours certification and offer Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin and Yoga Nidra.   Devoted to the study Yoga and Eastern Philosophy,  I honour practices of both strength and serenity.

I believe through yoga we learn how to live - this ancient framework encompasses ethics and a union of intention and action. Yoga offers optimal health and absolute peace of mind. It is this transformational power of yoga that I wish to share.

Billy/Will

I grew up in the mighty industrial coastal city of Wollongong (an hour south of Sydney)

Always loved surfing and snow culture and have been a life long musician. I started guitar at age 10 and evolved into being a vocalist along the way.

Having moved to the UK in 1999 and started a family (I have 2 amazing daughters) , I am now based in North Cornwall where I teach yoga, instruct surfing and continue to be a performing musician.

  • I feel extremely grateful that yoga came into my life at around age 20 as it has acted like a north star whilst doing my best to navigate my way through the challenges of life and has been something that I could return to again and again.

I have hundreds of training hours in several styles of yoga, breathwork and somatic practices and enjoy consistent practice across them all as well as a long standing meditation practice which is the cornerstone of my practice.

My passion is to share the techniques, ethics & principles of yoga in a lighthearted and experiential way for the benefit of our world (and beyond)
